Doug,
I have a 25' X 40' shop with 10" walls. It has 12 four foot, two tube
fluorescent lights. They provide adequate lighting because, I painted floor,
walls and ceiling gloss white. Even with my old eyes the light is good
enough for all but precision layout metal work. To aid in that I have a
couple of drafting board type lamps on one of my work tables.
