I kinda figured... :) Everything I have read about LSR and the sport in
general is that it's less of a 100% competetive sport (people still want
to win of course, that's the point) but more of a creative way to exchange
and try new engineering ideas, kind of a "people who like to go really
fast" family of sorts.
I agree that running a bike at those speeds on loose ground is insane,
more or less. But I also know it's been done many times over, so it can't
be that bad provided that's taken into consideration. Personally I feel
that's one of the challenges that makes this so much fun. Hell I'd go
race right now if I had a vehicle and crew, I already know I want to.
This appeals to me far more than any streetracing track ever will...
thanks to all for the kind words! Besides it's giving me something to do
while I'm extremely bored at work. Big internet pipes are great for doing
research.
