Mayf,

The salt flats are a desert just like where you live only 350 miles higher
in longitude.  We are having thunderstorms so the humidity is higher at
times.

You can go the USFRA home page for a link that will take you to weather
averages if you keep looking.  Anything over 25% humidity usually indicates
storms in the area.  Rick Gold posts that information at the ERC Fuel
trailer with several updates during the day.
