You make some excellent points.

I have a question for BNI/SCTA:

At a World Finals event that had FIA sanction/timing available,
would a car be allowed to compete for FIA records, only, while
using traction control?

And a question for USFRA:

In addition to bar stools would vehicles with traction control 
be allowed to run for time only?
