I have a stupit comment/question about traction control. If the NASCAR version works by way of rpm gain ... or doesn't. Why then does off-shore racing boats need a throttle man to control the engines when the boat comes out of the water while hitting a wave (loss of traction) couldn't this easily be handled with a rev limiter? > > From: "Clay, Dale" <Dale.Clay@mdhelicopters.com> > Date: 2002/06/26 Wed AM 11:30:09 EDT > To: "'Waldron, James'" <James.Waldron@CWUSA.COM>, > "'land-speed@autox.team.net'" <land-speed@autox.team.net> > Subject: RE: Traction Control > > At the Long Beach GP this year one of the cars spun coming out of a corner > and smacked the wall.
