Overheated racers, I started racing the Guam Bomb Studebaker at the dry
lakes. With the fire suit and a 100 degree day, I thought this wasn't very
much fun. I had a pre-cooler for the induction air. An Igloo cooler filled
with ice would supply cold water to an exchanger. An RV water pump powered
the system. My solution to cool the driver was a trans. cooler with it's own
fan. I plumbed it in series with the induction system and made a sheet metal
duct. The duct is aimed at my face. The comfort level increased
dramatically. Some of the best money I ever spent!. Terry Hunt, Guam Bomb,
