List:
I really liked Keith's direction on this thread-- and there are a whole passle
of
things I don't know about LSR-- but I've been slow to respond because I've been
just plain busy. So here is my first question:
Can anybody give me a step-by-step procedure on how to "shave" a (originally
treaded) motorcycle tire for LSR-- with the objects of keeping sufficient rubber
over the cords, and keeping perfect roundness? I would prefer info from someone
who has real experience with the actual task. (I suspect I can guess at good
ways to approach the problem as well as anyone).
I'm planning on beginning with roadracing radials, if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance.
