We are never certain, however, we believe this is what happened or is going to
happen!
March 8, 2002 we were again in Orange County Superior Court (as we were on
Feb. 21) regarding the Recusal motion which Goodwin's attorney filed in an
attempt to remove the case from Orange County. The assigned Superior Court
Judge Frank Briseno, who is scheduled to hear the Recusal motion, has now set
March 18 for the next court date. It is our understanding that the only thing
that will take place on the 18th is to set a date for the recusal motion
hearing. If we are correct, no other action will take place. This piece of
information was acquired after we were in the courthouse for nearly 2 = hours.
If we understood correctly, it appears that Judge Briseno will handle the case
from here on. His courtroom is located on the 10th floor Division 40, Central
Court, 700 Civic Center West, Santa Ana.

homicide case, hopefully they will show the drawings of the shooters and
mention the $ 1 million dollar reward: {They may be waiting for the
Preliminary Hearing to air their programming.}

THIS HAS HAPPENED: (General Information)
DANA POINT, CA. - - - - Michael F. Goodwin, 56, was arrested Friday (December
14) for two counts of murder, conspiracy to commit murder (with three special
circumstances). Goodwin is being held, without bail, in Orange County, for the
murders of auto racing legend Mickey Thompson and wife, Trudy, who were shot
to death outside their Bradbury, CA home, March 16, 1988, 6:00 a.m., as they
were leaving for work.

By the request of defense, the February 15, 2002 Federal Probation Violation
Hearing was rescheduled to Feb. 17, 2003.
On March 1, 2002 the Recusal Hearing, was rescheduled to March 8, 2002; and on
March 8, the hearing was reset to March 18th to set a date for the hearing! ?
