List, I have a friend ( yes Keith I do ) that has a 1990 Chevy 350 pick up truck. This thing has gone through four heater cores is the last 6 months. The new cores are all aluminum not brass or copper. I have put on 4 extra ground wires. The electrolysis will not even read on my volt meter. What I am asking is if there is a bad batch of heater cores on the market? He is having it changed today and going to bring me the old one to look at. The guy at the radiator shop is no dummy and he's stumped also. In 18 years he has never seen this big a problem. I told him I would put it out on the list and see if someone else has run into this lately. Any help?
