Grib, that WAS a great article! Congratulations! I liked the way David
described the ride, it was like reliving a ride at B'ville all over again. We
did miss you, where have you been?

This didn't get out the first time.
A key to personal success is to have an open mind to ideas of others.
Sorry, but I can't keep silent too long. Bet you'all missed me.
I for one would relish a "couple" of winter meets, perhaps in Texas or mid
US? I think many of the ECTA and SCTA people would attend. Given the
apparent problems with overuse ( or limited use ) of Bonneville and the
Desert areas, I expect we could use another location. I don't relish a
drive
to California with the probability of only one run on the desert (or maybe
none at all). Likewise, not many West Coast people have visited Maxton.
Perhaps a joint effort? And yes, I would be willing to volunteer.
>From the article that was in Hot Rod, I've had numerous calls from people
interested in the sport as an altrenative to what racing they are doing
now.
Having it grow in populatrity doesn't automatically negate the amature
status. (I got no calls from Robert Yates, Hendricks or John Force, besides
they already race almost every weekend now).
Just my thoughts on the matter.
