I remember years ago, the local parts store had a
clear plastic display that had two sets of gears,
one in a product like Pro-Blend (maybe it was
Pro-blend) and the other in plain oil. You would
turn the crank as fast as you could, and the
gears in regular oil spun all the oil off the
gears, and the set in the Pro-Blend type stuff
sucked it all up around the shaft. How does
that work? It seems to be defying Newton's basic
laws about centrifugal force.
