<< Just got my November/December issue of the Star, the Mercedes-Benz Club
newsletter. It has a great article about Bob Sirna and his 300SL, ~1955
vintage. He did a lot of work to try for the E/GT record but fell a little
short, as all of us do and ran a best of 156.378. This bests the record that
Don Ricardo held for 10 years. The issue also reports that Don Passed away on
August 16 at 92 years of age.
