I have a project I would like to do...an academic exercise if you will. But,
to do it, I need data from as many time slips as I can get. It does not
matter what kind of car, or anything else about the vehicle. But I do need
waht the driver had for breakfast that day...No just kidding.
This data may even be available on a website somewhere? Data can be from any
year any time any course (short or long). B'ville only right now.
I would like to have
2 1/4 mile trap speed, and time
2 - 3 average speed and time
3 - 4 average speed and time
4 - 5 average speed and time
5 - 6 average speed and time
Even if you did not run all the way but turned out somewhere I would dtill
like the info..I want to normalize the data and plot it vs distance. This is
a curiosity to me. I think Paradeo's law comes into play. 80% of the speed
occurs in 20% of the distance. This would be a verification of that. But I
would need a lot of data.
