Be careful that it's not a 7-main bearing 292ci 6 cyl. that would fall
into a modern engine class. I believe that GM started using that engine in
the late 50's. If the donor truck is a 1972 chances are that the engine is
the later one that would be in "D" class and run against similar sized OHV
