Hello everyone,
I was away in upstate NY, camping. When I called home on Tuesday
evening my wife heard through Rocco Pettruzo that Jack had passed. I do not
know what to say, I had no idea Jack was in the hospital. This is very
upsetting to me as I know it is for you. Jack was a great guy and really
loved his 32. The last time I saw him was at Raceway Park, Englishtown N.J.
The highway is a little less traveled in a BIG way!!! How many people do
you meet on line and offer to drive their prized automobile to your shop
class so that your kids can see a real Hot Rod?? Jack was this type of
person. He is definetley on my list of favorite people in my life.
Guess God must be restoring a 32 Duece Coupe and needed the best to help
him with the project. He could not have chosen a better person for the
job!!!!!!!
I have been in total amazement since I met Jack about 2 years ago that
he owned the same 32 Deuce Coupe for 50 years. In fact he stated to me, that
it was the only car he had owned all these years!!! Also, he drove it every
day as a driver!!! Surely, he set some type of record??
God bless Jack, I hope he is crusin down that 2 lane highway in the sky!!!
Regards to all, it was because of Jack that I met all of you. Tony
