Well, I do know that I sure don't enjoy being stuck at home while our car is
up running on the salt!
My dad qualified at 150.7 yesterday afternoon for a record run this morning,
just 2 mph over my record from last year. I am sure that he broke it this
morning in the good air. It is nice that he and all the others are having a
great speed week.
I am still treating my dog bite wounds, hence the reason I am still at home.
They remove all 20 stitches from my arm tomorrow. Then they will also decide
what to do with the one bite that is infected, perhaps put me in the hospital
on an iv antibiotic. I'll do whatever it takes to be repaired before I return
to my classroom in 2 weeks.
There's always next year on the salt! I hope that the rest of you that are
spending the week at home are doing well and planning your trip to the salt
for next year, too.
