Hot, windy and some what dusty late in the day. KC Leggitt driving Les
Leggitt's liner with a blown 4 cyl. KB ran 260.028 & 260.044 mph, Fred
Dannenfelzer had top speed @ 290.891 mph, Larry Lindsley ran the Leggitt
powered Firebird to a hand full of car at 256.539 mph. Turbo Rick had
passes at 201.141 & 205.226 mph.The best news is our girl Katie Cortez
driving dad's little Chevy coupe to a 151.854 mph record.
There was an incident that closed down the meet. Good news was a broken leg
on the rider. I won't go into details.
Entries were down as speedweek is just around the corner and 80 entries we
got off 140 runs. Every thing is packed for Bonneville and I think the salt
fever is begging for us to come get our fix.
See you there.
