Scott, you dont need much at all as a spectator.

The local Grocery stores (2 of them) are excellent
and have about everything you would need.

The Red Flame catering service is usually set
up offering drinks and food on the salt.

There is usually an eyeglass vendor as well, as
eye protection is as important as fluids,
and remembering to apply sunscreen everywhere
to include your armpits.

A CB is primarily a necessity for racers (required),
as the am radio broadcast covers the racing happenings
and announces the speeds and color commentary of each
pass and entrant.

I would suggest carrying a cooler in your vehicle
well stocked with gatorade, water, etc, as the needed
fluid intake would get impractical to keep running to the
vendor.

Stop by the Team Amo pit, or trailer wherever it is
we will have iced gatorade ready anytime of day, for
anyone, and as a bonus your little guy can hang out
with my little guy who will turn 6 yrs on this trip,
(he came out when he was 6 days old),
we stay at the motel 6 if you want to come by and
chat, and let you guy make friends with our guy,
Jon (not joe) usually has a lighted sign in the window of
the motel room with info about Landracing.com.

If you come by the Motel 6 hopefully we will again greet
you with cold drink, and not a greasy wrench, I am trying to
take after Jack Costella, but so far the only thing I have down
is taking stuff apart in the parking lot.

there is a fine park for kids to play in town as well, and the
scenery/landscape behind it is breathtaking.

Joe :)
