You have the right reading on the later fours, sixes, eights, V-sixes,
V-eights, etc. being classified by cubic inches and fuel used only. For the
Vintage Engine group the Ford V-8 group goes 1932 to 1953(production engines
only), the Vintage 4-cylinder group covers pre-1935, and the XO group covers
OHV and flathead inline, V-12's, V-16's, flathead V-8's (other than Ford &
Mercury), American engines of 325ci or less produced prior to
