List,
I tried to send a shop update for myself on Sunday
mut I think I did a "reply" vs "reply all" --opps !

The hemis are sitting in the corner and a 340 mopar
sits in the engine bay of the Porsche . The problems
with roller camshaft selection has put the Desoto
stuff on the shelf for the time being . No use putting
a street cam or a blower cam if thats not what I am
running.
The SB mopar has a muncie sitting behind it . I used a
Lakewood bellhousing that lets it bolt up with no
adapter which is pretty neat.Still have to build
headers, work out clutch linkage, finish fuel system
etc, etc, etc. The 924 porsche has drains in a bunch of
places and when they clog up they put rust in wierd
places. Trying to chase it all down now so I wont have
to later.
I got a windshield mount kit and I am sizing it up to
put in all of the lexan. I might wait so I wont
scratch it for the time being. I found a supplier for
a preformed rear window in lexan for this thing--got
lucky.
I am trying to have this thing done by the end of the
year races at Maxton. It has become apparent that this
is not going to happen. I will be away in Europe most
of June on business and my father's fight with cancer
has put a slowdown on everything . In addition my
sister expecting twins in July wont help!
Hopefully I can do some shakedown run by the end of
the summer. I am racing my bracket car every weekend
and getting pretty sick of losing with .520 lights. It
might be time to put that thing out to pasture and
concentrate on going REALLY fast.
So thats whats up with me .
