I believe that In my studies for my car I came across information on
raking a car for speed. I believe the author said that most cars are faster
with a forward rake, angle of attack than if they are presented to the wind
level. My car has about a 3" rake, The car that seemed to benefit the most
that I know about is the Avanti. Thinking about this from the thread about
lowering the rear of a camaro, should he be trying to settle the rear end way
down? I suppose if you were running that stock spoiler thing it would make
sense to get it out of the wind. I'm simplistic about rear end suspension on
the salt, Just don't bother with any, set the rear end solidly at what ever
height your heart desires. It's a very rough ride to a 150mph but is fine
after that. Kvach
