Okay rather then pitching my usual Hand grenade in here... I'll try something more technical... When setting up a 9" rear end... how do you determine the initial pinion gear depth? I have seen the patterns Richmond sends out with a new set of gears and have a copy of that..... is it the Gear pattern that determines the Depth? Lets talk about the shims that are required to determine the Pinion depth.... I know I have two choices....Crushable and Solid.... who has a good source of these?
