Having always push started at Maxton, my proceedure is to be pushed to 30/35 mph
so I can let the clutch out or in the case of the automatic, put it in gear and
then 'Hammer the go pedal'...not be pushed to 300 mph!!! Many times the S-10
broke traction 50 feet after leaving the push-truck bumper anyway and I had to
pedal it! Either way...it does NOT affect the speed at the finish line.
