Big Daddy Roth passed away on Wednesday Apr 4th in his studio in Manti, Utah. He was 69. He was described by author Tom Wolfe in his 1964 as the "most colorful, the most intellectual and the most capricious" of the car customizers." I remember him here at one of our Auto Rama shows in Salt Lake a couple of years ago. He always had a very nice booth set up and was always proud to display his "Save The Salt" license plate.
