They are OK under about 220 in the original factory condition. Beyond
that the guys seem to prefer shaving the excess tread to reduce their
inherent problem of centrifugal force and Long-Course generated heat causing
the tread to separate from the casing.
I ran mine to between 180 & 195 for years and never had a problem.
