When I worked for Uncle, we had a machinist there who did a lot of turning on modified aircraft parts. He used the mill witha 1" mandrel and medium grit grinding pad. He moved the piece up and down and back and forth by indexing pre-set 3/4 inch moves. We had some of the best looking stuff flying for uncle.
