When I lived in Alhambra Ca as a Kid I used to see it.... These guys would
bring that race car home from the SNOW in the middle of august.
100 plus degrees.... But they had GOOD Snow as it didn't melt....
Now that I sit here and think about it.... Hmmm wonder if anyone here knows
someone that raced out of Alhambra in the Mid to late 60's
All us kids would run over and see if he was going to make THAT NOISE .....
and by the time we got there it was gone.... I would stay and wait... cause
it might come back.... Don't have a clue what engine or car it was.... but I
loved that sound....
Just sitting here trying to remember more about the car ... neat set of
memories.......The guy Doing the Burnout in the New 68 Z-28 and chirping the
tires in Every gear down my street... ( I lived around the corner from a
Chevrolet dealer this guy was test driving the car )
