Yeah Doug, I remember reading about the "Bustle Bomb" in Hot Rod when I was a kid in high school. My friend in SoCal, Bill Martz, who ran a famous nitro Vincent Black Lightning there in the same period, just sent me an e-mail yesterday about the car. He used to watch it go. He said the ring gear had two pinions driving the back axle, and both engines turned the normal rotation. Though very unorthodox, the car was very successful in its day.
