According to the British Home Office, nearly one in every
10 Porsche 911s sold in Britain ends up being stolen.
Experts say the cars are being nabbed by highly
sophisticated thieves who steal them "on order." Even
Porsches equipped with expensive security systems end up
missing. There have been several reports of Porsches being
taken for test drives and never returned. Vehicles that
over the years have proven less attractive to thieves
include Fords and Renaults.
