Hi ever'body on the LSR List;
I'm just writin' to let you all know that I won't be getting much chance to
get near a 'puter for "recreational computing" after Dec 15th.
If there is something important that you personally want me to see, please
send it to my NEW (for "business") E-MAIL ADDRESS;
drawlines12@hotmail.com I will try to check for mail when I can at a local
library or something.
( -don't have internet at home...and surely won't until that degree starts
payin' off )
Yours truly is finishing up his two year stint at Collegggg this Friday so
we're in line for one of life's changes... It seems like it was only
yesterday when I decided to commit myself to the goal of a College degree
after a layoff at the Aerospace firm where I'd been employed. In actuality
though, it was a real steep learning curve (especially regarding these
'puters.) It's been a long haul I never dreamed I'd ever take -but I did
it. Life's funny like that. You really never do know what's around that next
corner.
I'll be receiving an Associates of Arts and Sciences Degree for my efforts.
That feels good. But now it's off to the great job hunt -commencing
immediately. Time to make all that work pay off. So because of that, I'll
not have much chance to check my mail
OK ? OK an' Thank Ya....
Please note: I AM going to retain the boogiewoogie12@hotmail.com address
for my LSR list and car buddy activities -but I think you will be more
sure to get my attention sooner if you mail to the new
drawlines12@hotmail.com instead. Thanks.
I considered temporarily removing my name from the list, but this thing we
have here is just TOO IMPORTANT to me to shut down. I'm going to try to
hang on and manage to keep the e-mail account from becoming too large and
having the hotmail police come after me. But I sure won't be able to read
many of the posts....darn it. I guess we've all been averaging about 25 to
30 messages per day from the list,(-some times as its been as much as 75!)
they add up quick if you don't stay with it!
Believe me, I'm looking forward to getting things sorted out, and "back to
normal" soon.
( normal ? What's normal??? )
Ok, That's it.Hope to hear from ya'!
Happy Holidays, and my very best to you all, my friends.
-Doug Anderson in New Yawk ( it's ok, just call me "LURKER"...-but only for
a while )
