List, Fred Larsen says Lynn Yeakle who designed the body on the Larsen Cummins #115 streamliner worked at Lockheed ... Skunk works ... and grudgingly admitted to having a degree in aeronautical engineering. Before he designed the body, Fred, not knowing what Lynn did and Lynn not talking, asked if he knew anyone at Lockheed who knew anything about aeronautical design. When Lynn admitted that actually he did Fred says " I had a .... *# ... genius sitting at my kitchen table and didn't even know it. Wes |
