I had a General on my trailer come apart on the
way to Maxton last year. It took off the tail
light and part of the fender. I've still got
Firestones on my Ford F-150, although they are
16" and Firestone insists there is no problem
with them. The Left rear threw it's tread with
27000 miles on it. I replaced it, and a month
later, a second one came apart - -but Firestone
insists they are good tires. I'm going to get a
set of Goodyears put on the truck next week.
