There has been a lot of discussion about car safety on the list lately. Just
thought I might touch base on shop safety, since returning from bville I was
involved in a freak on job accident. I let my guard done at work and am
paying the price now. A sliver of metal came off a louver tool used in our
press brake, It was about 1 1/2 inches long
and was shot thru my eye (I did not have my safety glasses on) it took 4
hours of surgery and two specialist to remove it. Recovery looks real good
for now. Just shows we have to be safe in the shop as well as out racing.
