If you look at page 21 of the 2000 rulebook, it shows that for a SFI 3.3
/15 fire suit, gloves must be SFI 3.3/15, boots must be SFI 3.3/5 AND
headsock SFI 3.3.
I am sure that if you contact Jim Diest, 818-240-7866, he can answer all
questions and provide the right equipment. You may have to wait till after
speed week as he was out on the salt last Tues. I think that the helmet is
ok only if worn with a nomex headliner.
