Playing with the tune-up on my EFI system the other day...distributor
BS... and discovered a page in the computer on Nitrous. Light goes on in the
dark reaches of my empty head...I'd like to run in the fuel classes too.
This feature has always been there just to busy to pay attention. OK, so I
opened it up and found some neat stuff. Apparently I can run a dry
system...meaning I can add all the fuel required through the injectors,
without special pumps regulators lines filters etc....and run the Nitrous
direct to the manifold. It's also a two stage system, adjustable delay
between stages, RPM sensitive, TPS on & off, has it's own fuel map, and it's
still controlled by the O2 sensor at a predetermined A/F ratio as rich as 10
to 1.
Wow, I need to pay more attention when I buy stuff. If I don't get the
turbo system up and running soon maybe I can at least try some N2O.
