Bill, Mayfield is sponsored by Mobil 1 oil. I'm know that is what they
run. They had trouble with the cooler so they bypassed it like they do
for quilifiing. I have run Mobil 1 15w-50 racing oil with good luck. I
can't buy it for a buck a quart any place around here. The lightest oil
you can run takes the least horsepower to pump. I know some guys have
run some real thin stuff and got away with it. How brave are
you? Doug Odom in sunny cal.
