The '61 VW pickup will be a cool streetrod. Before you go to the trouble of
purchasing and installing safety equipment I need to remind you that all
pickup classes start at 1972 for foreign mini trucks(not American made i.e.
Ford, Chevy, Dodge etc.) A pickup can only run in pickup classes.
