Dan, Dave and group:
It is true that "at this time" we do not have sponsorship from the Services
group at Edwards for Moroc 2000. They chose (without any of our input) to
forgo our event this year because of poor base participation last year. The
details about this are best left unsaid. I have since contacted the
Services folks and made them, "an offer they could not refuse", like my
Sicilian friends would say. They have agreed to meet and discuss the
details of my offer. I am expecting this to happen next week. I will keep
the list posted on my progress.
For now Do Not count out Muroc!
