Your absolutely right on that analysis. The City of Olympia up here has the
no pursuit policy, it's a joke and the bad guys are having a ball with it.
We on the Sheriff's Department on the other hand have a Sheriff with a huge
set of you know what. It is policy in the county jurisdiction to PIT a
fleeing vehicle if safe to do so and believe me we do. I've taken out my
share and that has had a positive effect on cutting down on folks fleeing in
vehicles in our jurisdiction. PIT is what the good guys do in nascar or
roundy round type races to take out their apponent, spin em out when you
have the chance. It's snowing out here, givin me a chance to practice for
Bonneville, the old slip and slide routine,
