Which Bonneville Event?

I am new to this list and Land Speed Racing.  We want to race at Bonneville
this year with a Harley Davidson in the 1000cc P PP class.  There are three
events at Bonneville that I know of.  One in August, one in September and
one in October.  What does one event offer over the other events and which
one would be best for us to select.  What else do we need to know or what
else can I tell you to help decide.
