Wait a minute Doug. Don't take any of this as negative feedback. It ain't.
Were all interested, curious, and actually supportive about what you have
done. Your breaking new ground for Altereds and no one I've heard is saying
anything bad. Just trying to give you the benefit of some of our collective
experience.

I can tell you, from actual experience, that your "chine blades" do have
more of an aerodynamic effect than you realize. It may not be a speed
increase, as you state, but not all aero improvements are for that purpose.
They will help your handling, which could be described as a safety benefit
or a speed benefit depending on who you talk to.

My feeling is that if they are made of straight flat plate, designed as part
of the frame, do not extend below the bottom of the frame rail, and don't
extend beyond the rear bumper, they should be legal for Comp Coupe, Altered
and Modified Sports. And I wouldn't mind seeing it in the rule book this
way.
