Sorry out there; I was thinking of the 60's when there were several Bonneville meets where the gas was provided by a sponsor and the stuff was gratis. Mind you this was just high octane pump gas not the racing gas you can get today. Then again we used to get lots of stuff back then especially from STP. Anyone else out there remember Pith helmets, shirts, jackets, fender covers, cases of oil, cases of additives and kites? Jim in Palmdale ranting about the good old days |
