Based on alot discussion on this list and individually the common consensus
is the 3-4 shift was a bit to wide.. 133 third gear..
even the Street Five speed from Richmond gears had a 1:23 third gear and I
simply couldn't bring myself to buy something that was marginally better...
Well last week I finally found the right Gear set for a T-10 fourspeed....
Tex Racing (810 428 1734) offers a USED nickel Plated cluster and gear set
for around 400 dollars that converts my T-10 to a 2:43 first 1:61 Second
and 1:18 third with a 1 to 1 fourth.... This ratio isn't advertised
anywhere and is going to cause us to push the car off which represents a
whole different set of issues with the Push truck (not set up at all).... (
built a Car push bar last night just in case these got here ) We have
simply decided to run our 180mph set up on the short course to qualify and
then if necessary switch out to this trans there.... with the hopes that it
will work as is...
Just thought I would pass along the info on the gear set and the phone

I am outta here Time to go rebuild our back up trans.....
