Looked over the remains of the 302 in Jacks car today. Cam and lifters in pan 6 spun rod bearings two broken rods. Crank and block very ugly. Theory is that cam broke shutting off oil pump but not crank trigger ignition. Motor continued to run on front cylinders until it completely destroyed it self. RIP 302 SBC---Rich Fox |
