Jerry,
The first weekend is a mad house. Rooms are scarce, lines are long,
but, that's when the most cars are there. By mid week lots of guys have hurt
their engines or done what they set out to do and are thinking about heading
home.
If I'm spectating I like to get there on Sunday and leave by mid
week........
