        Welcome aboard. There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. Your 
MGB sounds like a neat piece.
        The USFRA (Utah Group) has provisions for running street machines to 
qualify for their 130 and 150 MPH Clubs. I don't know what the particulars 
are, but, one of the Utah guys will undoubtedly respond.
        SCTA might have provisions for running street machines at the El 
Mirage Dry Lakes meets, but, you'd have to pull up the SCTA website at
