As you might guess there are some reasons for things (points) as they
are now. Minimums would help but they get to be a statistical nightmare, and
with a new venue extremely difficult to set up in the beginning.
Jumping up to higher classes has two reasons. One to gain a little extra
revenue for the association and second to fill up the rule book and get rid
of the open records.
We need to give some points for those who don't set a record too.
Eventually records will get harder and harder to set, and we need to reward
the effort. I like the idea of simple math.
I also like the idea for a trial parallel system as a test. The record
book will be huge when you add all the minimums. And I will need another
member who is willing to volunteer to administer all of this.
