Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) is something I have a little experience
with from My Apache flying days... and it can wreak Havoc on all sorts of
electrical things... with 121 black boxes it was always a problem
we did a lot of shielding around certain components to keep it all from
ground interference.... interesting statement that it would effect
components on a race car... ... Less John is so kicked back in that car he
can run a Radio and listen to his times on the course...

You will get a little static in the picture. One system had a remote camera
and we had to do some shielding. On one car,the picture told the story...
no oil pressure after the burnout, no oil pressure when the chute came out.
It really helped me build a better oil pan system. If you run a mag, I
think you might have a lot more interferance.
