I also have a clearance problem: The 6-qt pan is all that can be stuffed
into the stock Vette chassis. Even then due to the kick-outs it takes 3
guys to put the engine in 'cause it has to go in sideways until the pan
clears the motor mounts (This will be corrected soon as a motor plate
will replace the stock mounts) A deeper pan would hit, leaving another
long black line........
