I was talking to a long time Bonneville guy today... and he was passing
along advice... which I was of course taking notes on.... and he had the
most wonderful thing to say about Jim Bickford... I thought I would take a
second to pass along the Comment.....
We were talking about the cleanliness and race worthiness issue...
I.E...... there are guys who bring works of art but don't go fast... sure
they look good but they don't work... then there are guys who's cars arn't
as pretty ... but these guys run like Stink... See D CCPE record... for
living proof....
anyway this fellow was saying what a wonderful operation Jim Bickford
ran... and how his scooters or cars where always beautiful... and they ran
like stink....
My point is that I believe I heard about the most sincere compliment anyone
could hope to hear... and Jim wasn't even around... thought I would pass it
on via the list
See Jim someone was paying attention and you didn't even know it....
